Pointing the owner in the right direction
The T intersection of the mesh that the owner was installing in his footing was only lapped across the first bar instead of across the full width of the junction as required by the BCA. After I had pointed out to him that his installation was wrong and would fail its inspection it was with amazement that we both stood there and watched the surveyors inspector give him the thumbs up to proceed!!
